The Ninth Circuit considers Tesla's permitted appeal from an order certifying classes in Thomas LoSavio's consumer case. LoSavio alleges Tesla misled buyers by saying its vehicles had all the hardware needed for full self-driving. The district court certified two California damages classes and a narrower class seeking an injunction.
