Court recordings can be difficult to follow, and many suffer from poor audio quality. This podcast enhances the audio, provides a brief introduction to each case, and explains legal concepts that may be unfamiliar to some listeners.

The Ninth Circuit hears a petition by two citizens of Honduras challenging the denial of asylum and related relief. The argument focuses on how the agency evaluated evidence of persecution and whether women in Honduras can form a particular social group under asylum law. John W. Allured of the Law Offices of John W. Allured represents the petitioners. He will ask the court to grant the petition and send the case back.
