Colestock v. DeJoy — 9th Cir. (Aug 4, 2026)

No. 25-2941 Argued August 4, 2026 Published August 4, 2026; updated August 23, 2026

The Ninth Circuit reviews summary judgment against former Postal Service employee Laurel Colestock on her Title VII claims. Colestock says her supervisor coerced a sexual relationship and that the agency retaliated after she reported him. The appeal asks whether disputes over causation and pretext require a trial, and whether later actions by other managers make her hostile-work-environment claim timely.

Colestock v. DeJoy (No. 25-2941) — U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, argued August 4, 2026.
