Kendon Industries, LLC v. Towblazer, Inc., et al. — 9th Cir. (Sep 14, 2026)
The Ninth Circuit hears a dispute between manufacturers of folding motorcycle trailers. Kendon and Towblazer ended patent litigation with a settlement in 2007. That agreement restricted sales of foldable, stand-up trailers. Kendon later sued Towblazer and Troy Shockley over trailer sales, and a jury found that they had breached the settlement. Kendon won about one point eight million dollars in damages. Towblazer and Shockley are now asking the appeals court to overturn that judgment.
