The Seventh Circuit considers Michael Nussbaum's federal habeas challenge to an Indiana conviction. He says the loss of two 2012 forensic-interview recordings and the exclusion of evidence about a witness's exposure to pornography denied him a fair trial. Under Section 2254, federal review asks whether the state decision unreasonably applied clearly established Supreme Court law or unreasonably determined the facts.
