Liu v. Hochul — 2d Cir. (Sep 1, 2026)

The Second Circuit hears Lewis Liu's challenge to New York's winner-take-all method for choosing presidential electors. Liu says the system strips losing-candidate votes of electoral weight. The state defendants answer that Williams and later circuit decisions foreclose the challenge. Three days after argument, the court affirmed the dismissal in a nonprecedential summary order.
